Reviewed 26 July 2026. These instructions apply to Hae Hae sleep sacks and to any product configuration that functions as a swaddle. They supplement—not replace—the product size chart, care label and advice from your child’s healthcare professional.
Before every use
- Choose the correct size. The neck and arm openings must fit securely so the garment cannot ride over the baby’s face.
- Inspect the fabric, seams, fasteners and zipper. Stop using the product if anything is damaged or loose.
- Fasten all closures provided and make sure fabric cannot cover the nose or mouth.
- Keep the baby’s face and head uncovered.
Safe sleep environment
- Always place baby on their back for every sleep.
- Use a firm, flat and level infant sleep surface with a well-fitted sheet.
- Keep the cot or bassinet free of pillows, bumpers, toys, loose blankets, sleep positioners and other soft objects.
- Do not use weighted blankets, weighted swaddles, weighted sleep sacks or other weighted sleep items.
- Dress baby for the room and check for overheating, including sweating, damp hair, a hot chest or flushed skin.
If the product is used in an arm-restricting swaddle mode
- Use this mode only while baby shows no sign of trying to roll.
- Stop the arm-restricting mode immediately at the first sign of trying to roll, even if this occurs earlier than expected.
- Do not wrap the chest tightly or restrict breathing.
- Allow the hips and legs to bend, open and move freely. Do not force the legs straight or bind them together.
When used as an arms-out sleep sack
- Make sure both arms are outside and free to move.
- Continue to use the correct size and inspect the garment before every use.
- An arms-out sleep sack does not replace any safe-sleep recommendation.
Care
Hand wash or machine wash cold. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron if needed. Dry in shade.
